In a span of almost 30 years, DIBS has acquired 80 lots at a value of over $3,000,000.
More importantly, DIBS has protected more than 25 acres of undeveloped habitat on Dauphin Island for the birds!

As of August 1, 2023, DIBS has acquired and protected 80 properties (some appear as one block so don't try to count the red blocks to check!) in the central eastern woody section of Dauphin Island. With your help, DIBS will continue its mission to preserve habitat for local and migratory birds as well as native wildlife on this exceptional barrier island!
