You have arrived at a birder's

paradise that is recognized as a Globally Important Bird Area by the National Audubon Society and BirdLife International.

An incredible 350 species have been reported here and the entire island is recognized as a Bird Sanctuary. Rewarding bird

observations can be made in any of the public areas including parks, beaches, dunes, wetlands and quiet streets. Spring and Fall are exciting times on the island but

ANY TIME IS GOOD BIRDING TIME ON DAUPHIN ISLAND!
