Longfellow Reserve

In 2019, DIBS was able to purchase four prime, contiguous properties on the south side of Longfellow Place behind the water tower. This was made possible through donations from the Senter/Germany family, the Winn Family, Harriett Wright's Estate, and the generous Membership and Friends of DIBS.

These heavily wooded lots are located just inland from the main dune line and provide shelter and food for both native and migrating woodland birds. At this time there are no paths through the property and birding is best accomplished from the road. Future plans include fencing, signage, and minimal paths through this prime property.
