Mobile Bay Ferry
The Mobile Bay Ferry connects the Dauphin Island and Mobile County with Fort Morgan and Baldwin County to the east and operated under contract with the Alabama Department of Transportation (ALDOT). Offering year-round service across Mobile Bay with at least one vessel, the ferry operates seven (7) days a week, weather permitting. The ferry is closed only on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day. During summer months, two vessels normally operate depending on public demand.
THE FERRY SCHEDULE IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE DUE TO WEATHER OR MAINTENANCE.

Loading for the Dauphin Island side is at 112 Bienville Blvd., Dauphin Island, AL 36528
Loading for the Fort Morgan side is 110 State Highway 180, Gulf Shores, AL 36524
